Included a 9000 word proposal covering tools, tactics, objectives, target audience, measurement and analysis, implementation, integration, risk and engagement and usage policies. Tools included Twitter, Facebook,HootSuite and Youtube. Involved in marketing activities across the board within the Marketing Team. Significantly improved PR coverage over the twelve weeks. Extended PR contact lists,engaged in online media relations, researched target publications and journalists, wrote and designed press releases (integrated with outlook email) and contacted journalists. Promoted Google Analytics and other marketing and measurement devices. Copy-writing and e-newsletter marketing skills put to use with Norwich International Airport e-newsletter. Established and implemented a special Travel Agent's enewsletter using MailChimp. October 2009 - February 2010Barley to Beer project - The East Anglian Brewers Co-operative/UEA 2009-2010 o Planned and wrote a business case for the new enterprise, Barley to Beer, with the aim of securing funding from the East of England Development Agency's Rural Development Programme for England - Barley to Beer's aim was to promote local real ale on barley growing farms. o This involved co-ordinating the project between farms, the Brewers Co-operative and various other local organisations including marketing agencies, local community groups, SEEE, tourist boards, brewers, pubs the East of England Development Agency and the Guild. o Included research for and the writing of a viable business plan as well as financial forecasts. I was given much independence and this allowed for a great deal of initiative.
